The Calhoun Commission has appointed Rick Sampson, Mike Ritchie and Diane Ludwig to be members of the authority.
The Calhoun Commission has backed the transit authority formation, believing it will help citizens suffering from rising gasoline costs with low-cost transportation.

During Wednesday's meeting, Darlene Harris will give a history of the bus service and four officers will be elected to the authority.
