Isaac Ray Bell, 74, of Mt. Zion, Calhoun County, West Virginia, passed away December 8, 2007 at Minnie Hamilton Health Care System, Grantsville.
Born in Calhoun County, he was a son of the late Wesley and Vernie Boggs Bell. He was a well tender in the oil and gas industry and was a member of the Cremo Community Church.
Surviving are his wife, Loretta Ferrell Bell; six sons, Patrick (Darlene) Bell of Big Springs, Daniel (Lori) Bell of Normantown, Donald (Cindy) Bell of Morgantown NC, Charles (Zola) Bell of Annamoriah, James (Tammy) Bell of Big Bend, and John Bell at home; eight daughters, Madge (Jim) Basnett, Ann Whisemant, Sherri (Steve) Kirchburg all of Morgantown NC; Karen (Lloyd) Six of Cairo, Linda (Ken) Carpenter of Arnoldsburg, Criss (Nick) Davis of Big Bend, Rebecca (Doug) Starcher of Mt. Zion, Sara (Eric) Marks of Orma; one brother, Charles (Wilma) Bell of Grantsville; 43 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Teresa Bell, a daughter, Teresa Lynn Bell, a son Gerald Bell, and a grandson.
Funeral services will be held 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 11 at Stump Funeral Home Grantsville. Rev. Roger Carter will officiate. Interment will be in the St. Paul Cemetery near Mt. Zion.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday. |
