| Jimmie Ray Rogers, 70, of Grantsville, West Virginia, died Sunday, November 18, 2007 at Minnie Hamilton Health System, Grantsville.
He is a son of Claud and Clara Cottrell Rogers. He was born March 30, 1937. He was a member of the Frozen Run Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Pearson Rogers; sons, David Rogers of Spencer, WV, Earl Rogers of Forestville, MD, and Tracy Tibbs of Landing, MD; daughters, Patricia Thornberry and Anna Wade both of Bowie, MD. Also surviving are sisters, Maxine McCumbers of Orma, WV, and Shirley Collins and Erma Collins both of Marion, VA; brothers, Nelson Rogers of Shock, WV, Robert Rogers of Gallipolis, OH, and Basil Rogers of Warren, OH; 7 grandsons, 3 granddaughters, and 4 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by 5 sisters and 2 brothers.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg. Rev. Carl Marks will officiate. Interment will be in the Cottrell Cemetery on Frozen Run.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. |
