| Blaine L. Jett, 72, went home to be with the Lord November 6, 2007.
He was born November 24, 1934 at Minnora, Calhoun County, West Virginia to Carl and Dessie (Jarvis) Jett. He married Janice Truman on June 23, 1956. A resident of Doylestown, he was a US Army veteran and retired from Ford Motor Company. He was a member of N.A.I.V.C. and enjoyed golfing, hunting and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife, Janice Jett of Doylestown; son Kenneth (Cindy) Jett of Doylestown; daughters, Sharon Jett of Clinton, Lesa Jett of St. Albans, Vermont, Diane (Kevin) Davis of Seville; and Windy Jett of Doylestown; grandchildren, Chasity (Joe) Acosta of Doylestown, Nikki, Jeremy, Emily, Mikki and Kenni; great grandchildren, Tyler and Josie; brothers, Calvin (Shirley) Jett of Doylestown, Bruce (Janet) Jett of WV; sisters, Wanda (Delmar) Bailey and Nola (Leon) Smith all of WV.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, November 11 at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg, WV. Rev. Rick Metheney will officiate. Interment will be in the Bailey Cemetery near Minnora.
Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the services. Military Graveside Rites will be provided by the American Legion Post of Spencer.
