Calhoun-Gilmer Career Center will be offering its last group of free Industrial Sewing Classes beginning November 27.
These classes are designed to teach basic skills on industry machines. Funding for these, the 6th set of classes, will expire at the end of these classes.
Future classes, if continued, will require a tuition fee.

These classes will run for three hours a day, three days a week for 3 weeks. Enrollment is limited to 8 for the day session, 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 8 for the evening sessions 6:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Upon satisfactory completion of the course students may receive a recommendation for employment in the industrial sewing industry. Completers may be able to secure employment locally with Mustang Survival, Elizabeth, WV; RPR Industries, Grantsville, WV; or Panther Primitives, Normantown, WV.
The class is a joint project between Work Force WV, West Virginia Department of Education - Division of Career and Technical Education, Little Kanawha Area Development Corporation, Mustang Survival, RPR Industries, Panther Primitives, and the Calhoun-Gilmer Career Center.
