| Two Arnoldsburg area residents were recognized Saturday for their "above and beyond" volunteerism.
Steve Boggs and Robin Gordon were awarded plaques for community service at the West Fork Community Action's annual Appreciation Dinner.
About 50 volunteers attended the dinner.
"Our volunteers often give a lot of help to the Molasses Festival, but they have also donated time for lots of other projects," said Linda McCartney.
Boggs recently led the effort to assemble the park's new playground equipment, and Gordon "puts her nose to the grindstone in kitchen activities," said McCartney.
"We're grateful for all our volunteers," she concluded.
