| Long-time Roane County magistrate Wendy A. DePue of Spencer has died after an extended illness.
DePue, 64, of Spencer, was a native of England, and wife of Gary DePue of Spencer.
She was a retired Roane County Magistrate with more than 24 years service.
Also surviving, a son, Dean DePue of Holly NC.
Funeral services are scheduled Thursday in Spencer.
