A Millstone man has been sentenced to six months in jail after he was arrested for carrying a deadly weapon without a permit and assault.
Andrew "A. J." King, 20, was arrested by the Spencer Police Department on the weapons charge.
Officers said King was carrying a loaded .45 caliber pistol and two knives when they arrested him inside a Spencer residence.
He was being sought on a domestic violence charge from Calhoun County.
Three weeks later, the Roane County Sheriff's Department arrested King on charges of assault, trespassing and obstructing an officer after he threatened Phillip Knicley at a residence on West Main Street.
King pled guilty to the weapons and assault charges with the other charges being dropped.
He will be incarcerated for 42 three-day weekends.
