| Albert R. Hughes, 78, of Spencer, West Virginia, died Friday, October 19, 2007, at the home of his sister, Alice Jett of Pigeon, Roane County.
He was born August 14, 1929, in Roane County, a son of the late William and Mary Runnion Hughes. Albert was a former employee of the Super K Market and Spencer Cab Company. He was a Christian and attended the Church of the Nazarene, Spencer. Albert was also an Army veteran.
In addition to his sister, Alice, survivors include another sister, Carolyn Jones of Indiana; two brothers, Raymond Hughes of Pigeon and Steve Hughes of Barnesville, Ohio; several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, October 23 at 11:00 a.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Jack Roberts officiating. Burial will be in the Clover Cemetery, Clover.
Friends may call at the funeral home one hour before the service. |
