| The Calhoun Wood Festival has elected new officers for the coming year.
Judy Powell, president; Angie Hersman, vice-president; Jackie Blankenship, secretary; Jim Sullivan, treasurer; Terry Harris, auditor.
Board of Directors: Jim Sullivan, 8 years; Jackie Blankenship, Deb King, Paige Toney, six years; Terry Harris, Loretta Freshour, Shirley Ball, Carol Sloan, Angie Hersman, four years; Judy Powell, two years.
Members at large: Colleen Sullivan, Michael Sullivan, Leonard Powell, Bryan Toney, Joe Hersman, Casey Harris, Henry Cooper, Jim McCormick, Andy Bremar, Roger Jarvis, Sam Nicholson.
Committees were appointed: Jim Sullivan, entertainment; Shirley Ball, fundraising; Paige Toney and Jackie Blankenship, pageants; Deb King, Loretta Freshour and Shirley Ball, booths; Carol Sloan, information booth.
Leonard Powell's motto was adopted: "No Complaining."
After all the festival bills were paid, the group has about $2,100 for next years festival.
