Shirley A. Mace Sampson, 42 of Orma, WV, died September 29, at Charleston Area Medical
Center, General Division.
Born in Calhoun County, she was a daughter of the late Oral and Ernestine Hoskins Mace. She
was employed by Spencer, Veneer Company, Spencer, WV.
Surviving Mrs. Sampson are a son, Matthew Sampson of Orma; three daughters, Marjorie
Sampson, Jessica McKown and April McKown all of Orma; four brothers, Kenneth Mace and
Jim Mace both of Chloe, WV, Harley Mace of Heaters, WV and Jeff Mace of Arnoldsburg, WV;
six sisters, Kathy Stevens of Charleston, WV, Lillie O'Brien of Gandeeville, WV, Lou Johnson of
Grantsville, WV, June Sampson of Stumptown, WV, Becky Stagg of Spencer, WV and Deb
Mace of Arnoldsburg, WV.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg, WV.
Reverend Rick Metheney will officiate. Interment will be in the Mace Cemetery, Arnoldsburg.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday.
