The Calhoun Head Start program is an opportunity for pre-school age children
to participate in an educational program that includes medical, dental,
nutritional, and social services to the family.
Both home-based and
center-based options are available. The center-based program offers a
six-hour day, four days each week. Two hot meals and an afternoon snack are
provided.
The home-based program offers a 90-minute home visit each week
and two days of center socialization each month. All Head Start services are
provided without charge to all eligible children. For more information, contact
the Center at 354-6594 or Home-Base office at 655-8208. |
