VFW members set flagpole at Short Cemetery on Egypt Ridge
Carpenter, buried in Short Cemetery, served in WW II, Korea and Vietnam
It has been an ongoing project of the Grantsville VFW Post 5959, setting flag poles and raising "Old Glory."
Yesterday the soldiers went to the Short Cemetery on Egypt Ridge to do the honors.
