Sarah Holt presents grant check to Roger Jarvis
The Little Kanawha Area Community Foundation (LKACF) recently awarded a grant in the amount of $625 to Calhoun County Park. This grant is to be used to purchase and install wood studding, insulation, vinyl siding and replacement windows on one side of the community building at Calhoun County Park.
Accepting the check on behalf of the Calhoun County Park is Mr. Roger Jarvis, Secretary/Treasurer for the organization. Presenting the check to Mr. Jarvis is Sarah K. Holt, LKACF Representative. This grant was made possible by a grant from the Mary Reynolds Babcock Foundation.
LKACF is currently in the midst of its second grant cycle, also made possible by a grant from the Mary Reynolds Babcock Foundation. LKACF grant awards will be made in December.
The LKACF is a non-profit organization which seeks to build permanent funds to support charitable activities in Calhoun and Wirt Counties, forever! LKACF was established in 2004 as an affiliate of the Parkersburg Area Community Foundation (PACF). PACF is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which was established in 1963, serves eleven counties, and has five Regional Affiliates, one of which is LKACF.
