It's been a a long haul for young 15-year-old Ryan "Goob" Fitzwater, who was critically
injured on July 2 when a farm tractor rolled over and crushed him. Part of his healing
process has been not to walk, until last week. He's up and giving it his best, on the
road to recovery.
Rick and Melinda Fitzwater and all their family are inviting the community to a
"Walking Party" at their residence at Hur.
The event will be held Sunday, September 30 starting at 1 p.m. at the Fitzwater
residence.
"We wish to thank everyone who has helped in any way while Ryan was in the
hospital and during his recovery," they said.
