The Glenville State College Pioneers Volleyball Team went 0-4 at this past weekend's Ferris State Invitational.
The 16 team tournament featured 10 teams that made the 2006 NCAA Regional Tournament.
The Pioneers dropped both Friday matches, first to Lake Superior State 1-3 (23-30, 30-17, 30-23, 30-20) and then to Northwood 0-3 (30-22, 30-22, 30-21). On Saturday the Lady Pioneers again battled tough but came up empty, dropping the first to Saginaw Valley State 0-3 (30-15, 30-24, 30-24) and then to tournament host Ferrist State 0-3 (30-21, 30-20, 30-23).
The Lady Pioneers return to action Tuesday, August 28th at 7 p.m., when they travel to Huntington, WV to take on the Marshall University "Thundering Herd." |
