Hobert Kesley Marks, 72, of Duck, West Virginia, passed away August 20, 2007 at Sunbridge of Glenville following an extended illness.
Born in Braxton County, he was a son of Charles Edward and Virgie Byard Marks. He was a US Navy veteran, mechanic and a former construction worker.
Surviving are his wife, Phyllis Jean Jarvis Marks; son, Edward of Doylestown, Ohio; daughter, Carol Ann Wetzel of Lake Milton, Ohio; 3 brothers, Wesley Marks of Elmira, Richard Marks of Servia, and Ronnie Marks of North Canton, Ohio; 2 sisters, Ermal Vaughn of Chloe, and Christine Wriston of Duck; 3 grandchildren, Matthew, Dominic, and Jessica Ann.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, August 25 at the Elmira Baptist Church. Rev. Dewey Tanner will officiate. Interment will be in the Elmira Cemetery.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg.
