The Calhoun Red Devils had a scrimmage with Richwood Saturday under the scorching sun. A second scrimmage is next Friday night at 7 p.m. (Aug. 17) with Paden City and the first official game with Gilmer County is on August 24, both at home.
Friday (Aug. 17) is also "Meet the Teams" night beginning at 6 p.m. All fall sports teams will be introduced, cross-country, high school and middle school volleyball, varsity and middle school football. The Red Devil band will also be introduced.
