Mountain Fury, the four-girl country music band,
was a big hit at the Fireman's Bluegrass Fest Saturday
A large crowd enjoys extensive schedule of bluegrass performers

The area's biggest bluegrass festival returned to Chloe this past weekend, the Upper West Fork Volunteer Fire Department's 10th Annual Fireman's Bluegrass Festival.
A large crowd from far and wide attended the event, which features some of the region's best bluegrass performers.
One of the big attractions at the festival was the up and coming regional all-girls band, Mountain Fury.
The crowd stayed well into the night,
listening to music and watching the fireworks
In addition to a Kiss-the-Goat Contest (primary kisser Randy Perkins) the greased pig event caused quite a stir with at least two of the slippery pigs getting loose, one going into the crowd to be tackled by a spectator, and another taking off for the woods near the park, not to be seen again.
A Saturday night highlight was a gigantic fireworks display.
The festival is a fundraiser for the Upper West Fork VFD.
