A second Wirt County arsonist could spend the next 50-60 years in prison.
Jerod Evans was sentenced yesterday after helping set a fire that destroyed several businesses in downtown Elizabeth last year.
Evans entered earlier guilty pleas to five counts of arson and one count of breaking and entering. The arson convictions carry 10 years each and the breaking and entering 1-10.
Evans and Willie Trembly broke into Roberts Hardware Store last June. They set the building on fire to try and cover the crime and flames spread to other buildings.
Trembly has also been sentenced to a prison term.
