Calhoun's award winning writer Jeanne Wilson has again been recognized for her recent work.
She just won third place in the Alabama Writer's Conclave competition for her short story "Locked In" the tale of a young girl's struggle with mental illness.
The 2007 AWC writing competition winners were announced July 22nd. Jeanne's entry was in the Fiction-2500 words category.
Additionally the Nazarene Publishing House of Kansas City, Missouri has bought her "When The Time Comes" a short story with both pathos and humor.
Wilson has received numerous awards and recognition for her writing over several years. |
