| The state Fire Marshal's Office says they will be unable to determine the cause of a double fatal fire this week in Braxton County.
The Tuesday blaze in the Strange Creek area claimed the lives of Victor and Irene Lambert, both 88-years-old.
Investigators say there was too much damage in the two-story home to determine how the fire began.
The top floor collapsed into the second floor and then into the basement.
They did say there were no working smoke detectors in the home.
