| Edna "Lorraine" Wade, 65, of Tanner, W.Va., departed this life and went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, July 25, 2007, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, W.Va.
Born March 23, 1942, in Dekalb, Gilmer County, she was a daughter of Audra Williams Wade of Tanner and the late Herbert B. Wade.
Lorraine was a graduate of Tanner High School, retired employee of the U.S. Postal Service, a Baptist and attended the Three Poplar Church in Tanner. She also loved to collect Coke memorabilia.
Surviving is one son, Bobby J. Wade and wife, Jeanna, of Fairmont, W.Va.; three brothers, Oras Wade and wife, Margie, of Glenville, Delmas Wade and wife, Ellen, of Pine Creek, W.Va., and Herbert Clyde Wade and wife, Peggy, of Tanner; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Edith Bush.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Sunday at the Ellyson Mortuary Inc., Glenville, with the Rev. Joe Langcaster officiating. Burial will follow in the Three Poplar Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. today at the mortuary. |
