SSgt Edwin L "Bo" Wriston, a 1990 Wirt County High School graduate, is currently serving with the United States Air Force Reserves in Kuwait.
Attached to the 386th Air Expeditionary Wing at Ali al Salem Air Force Base, SSgt Wriston works in the Cargo Processing section handling air cargo shipments in support of Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom.
When not in uniform, Bo lives in Rhode Island and works full time as the Official Mail Manager for the US Naval War College, in Newport, Rhode Island, while also running his own photography business. Normally stationed with the 85th Aerial Port Squadron out of Hanscom Air Force Base, Massachusetts, Bo is serving a four-month active duty tour due to be completed in late September.
Having served five years active duty service with the US Navy from 1990-1995, Bo joined the Air Force Reserves in 2004.
