An Upshur County plastics plant is joining dozens of other West Virginia companies that have moved their operations, generally to foreign countries.
The closure of the J-M Eagle plant will mean the loss of 75 Buckhannon-area jobs.
Upshur County commissioners say the loss of jobs will hurt the community.
J. M. Eagle's operations are reportedly being moved to non-union facilities in other states, although local workers have said they expect them to be globalized.
But the Buckhannon plant says the jobs will be sent to non-union plants in Adele, Georgia, and Butler, North Carolina.
