We had such a great crowd who came to the Candlelight Prayer Vigil Sunday
night. I want to thank each of you who took time out of your schedule to
came out on a chilly night. I also want to thank Sara Lynch who sang our
National Anthem. She agreed to do so only a few hours before the service.
Thank you Sara for sharing your God given gift and doing such a beautiful
job!
Thank you to Art Bell who provided the sound system for us. Bob Weaver
who
spread the word and provided some helpful ideas for the service. Thank you
to
the VFW Color Guard who came and displayed our flag as we united together
and
for playing Taps at the end of the service.
Thank you to MHHCC Long Term
Care Unit for the extra candles. I am so thankful you had them. We would
have definitely ran out.
Most of all, again let me thank each of you for coming and uniting as one to
lift up your voice in song and prayers for everyone involved in this tragic
event.
