| Delmas G. "Dib" Goodnight, 60, of Brohard, West Virginia, passed away Monday, July 9, 2007 at his home.
Born in Calhoun County at Sugar Camp, he was the youngest son of the late Lawrence Hale Goodnight and Dessie Mae Richards Goodnight. He was a well tender in the oil and gas industry and was employed by Cain Oil & Gas Company.
Surviving are a brother, Arthur Goodnight of Ravenna, Ohio; and sisters, Mavarine Butler of Bowie, Maryland, Delores Dye and brother-in-law, Donald Dye; a brother-in-law, Robert Bush of Spencer; an aunt Blanche Bell of Brohard; 11 nieces, 6 nephews, 15 great nieces, 11 great nephews, 5 great-great nieces, and 5 great-great nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Freda Bush, a brother, Ronzel Goodnight, and a niece Tammy Dye Hatfield.
Funeral services will be held 12:30 p.m. Friday, July 13 at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville. Rev. Alfred Hickman will officiate. Interment will be in the Goodnight Cemetery at Big Bend.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
