Opal Weekley of Orma, went home to be with the her Lord,  July 4, 2007.
She was born in 1916 a proud daughter of the late Charles and Ettie Knotts of Walnut Creek, Chloe, WV.
 She was a life long member of the Walnut Methodist Church. A loving mother, wife, teacher and member of her community, she lived to serve them and her Savior.Â
Opal is survived by her children Geneva Lucas and husband Jim, Larry Cottrell and wife Sutchai, Barbara Travis and husband Larry, stepchildren, Lowell Weekley, Paul Weekley and wife Sandy, Bill Weekley and wife Marty, Sharon Hill and husband Bill, and Carroll Weekley and wife Carol.
Forty  grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren. 12 great-great grandchildren, three sisters Jean Carte, Marie Arnold and Juanita Siers.
She was proceded in death by her husband Fred Weekley, three stepchildren, Robert, Loy, and Glenna, two grandchildren Dale and Linda, one great-granddaughter and a close friend and daughter-in-law Janet Weekley.Â
Also going before her was her brothers Lee, Cecil, Scott, Bernard, Tommy and Junior Knotts, two sisters, Reva Gibson and Sadie Arnold.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. July 8th at Stump Funeral Home in Arnoldsburg.Â
Rev. Darrekk (Buck) Mollahan will officiate. Internment will be at the Minnora Cemetary.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday.
