About 1500 people have applied for the 50-80 jobs at the new Hino Motors' truck assembly plant in Williamstown.
The Williamstown plant hasn't even started production yet, but Workforce West Virginia's Job Service and Unemployment Office in Parkersburg has been receiving applications during the last eight days.
The Toyota affiliate plans to invest $6.8 million dollars to get the plant ready to open by November.
Hino will hire assemblers, quality control specialists, production supervisors and others to help assemble 2,500 trucks a year.
