| Sylvia Roberts 84, of Worthington Manor, Parkersburg, West Virginia, passed away July 1, 2007.
She was born February 24, 1923 a daughter of the late Elzie and Virginia Tingler. She attended Bethlehem Baptist Church.
Sylvia is survived by her husband of 65 years, Forest Roberts; two sons, Bob and wife Charlotte of Parkersburg, WV, and Forest, Jr. and wife Joyce of Grantsville, WV; four granddaughters, Theresa Dorsey and husband David, Deborah Lockhart, Kimberly Cheesbrew and husband Mike, and Kristy Boles and husband Chris; eight great grandchildren, Matthew and Jennifer Wood, Katelyn and Allison Dorsey, Robert and Danielle Lockhart, Alex and Emerald Cheesbrew; one brother, Forest Tingler of Big Springs, WV.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister, Goldie Chappell and three brothers, Leonard, Paul, and Harold Tingler.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, July 7 at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville with Rev. Ronzel Roberts officiating. Burial will be in the Nobe Cemetery.
