Harold Richards, 79, of Grantsville died June 28, 2007, at the Charleston Area Medical Center.
He was born June 10, 1928, the son of the late Russell and Blanche Richards. Harold grew up in Calhoun County. He worked for several years in the area of Warren, Ohio, returning to Calhoun County in later years. He was active in the Grantsville and Elizabeth Senior Citizens.
Surviving is a sister, Juanita Stiffler of Canton, Ohio; two nieces, Kris Saxton and Rae Mona Bennett; and nephews, James Dewitt, Harvey Springston, Jeff Springston and Micahael Richards.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Steve Richards; and two sisters, Geraldine Springston and Violet Douglas.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Maze Cemetery of Calhoun County. Matheny Pomroy Funeral Home of Elizabeth is entrusted with arrangements.
