A Sand Ridge man has been missing in Durham, North Carolina since 1 a.m. Monday
morning, after becoming separated from his long-time girlfriend. Shirley C. Rush, 22,
had traveled to Reedsville, North Carolina last Friday to visit with friends,
accompanied by Amy Barr, 20, daughter of Mark Barr of Calhoun County.
Rush and Barr were returning to Calhoun when they became separated in the urban
area. Ms. Barr said she saw his 2000 white Ford Ranger (WV 8CV395) drive away,
looking for a place to park. She became frightened when he did not return and went
to an all-night service station to seek help.
