| Paul A. Anderson, 78, of Gandeeville, died Thursday, June 7, 2007, at his home, after an extended illness.
He was born at Ryan, Roane County, a son of the late George F. and Mary A. Westfall Anderson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Judy Ann Anderson; a sister, Ruby Frederick; four brothers, Boyd, Olen, Harry and Billy Anderson.
Paul was a retired carpenter and farmer. He enjoyed hunting deer and raccoons. Also, he built birdhouses and bird feeders.
Survivors include his wife, Jeanette Harris Anderson of Gandeeville; daughter, Joyce Brown of Alexandria, AL; sister, Reva Anderson; several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted Saturday, June 9 at 2:00 p.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with Bro. William L. "Bill" Walton officiating. Burial will be in the Ferrell Cemetery, Vicars, Roane County.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service Saturday at the funeral home. |
