A bountiful number of candidates are seeking to be elected to the town council, two-year term.
The ten that are seeking the five seats are five incumbents Cheryl Cheesebrew, Gaylen Duskey, JoAnn Shock, Loretta Stevens and Charlie Whipkey, with new candidates Theresa Cain, Stephanie Ferguson, Geneva Groves, Helen Jordan and Katheryn Kerby.
