| Betty Chumbley Painter, 81, a native of West Virginia, passed away May 29, 2007 at Miletree Center in Spencer, West Virginia.
She was a widow of Claude Emmett Painter.
She is survived by a son Earl Kent and his wife Betty of Fincastle, Virginia; a daughter, Cheryl Basnett and her husband Roger of Calhoun County; and three grandchildren, Anita, Earl and Nathan.
There will be no service.
Donations may be made to the Grantsville Volunteer Department, Grantsville, WV 26147.
