and Tiffany Swisher with scholarships

Calhoun County United Methodist Cooperative Parish awarded high school seniors Seth Jarvis, the son of Rick and Cheryl Jarvis a $500 scholarship and Tiffany Swisher, the daughter of Bobby and Marsha Swisher a $250 scholarship.
This is the seventh year the Calhoun United Methodist Cooperative Parish has awarded such scholarships based on church and community involvement and expression of the applicant's faith.
Pastor Mary Zimmer, Coordinator for the Parish stated, the scholarships were made possible through gifts from individuals and United Methodist Churches within Calhoun County.
The scholarships recognize and support our youth and their openness in being servants of Christ, which continues to be an important and exciting ministry for the Parish. |
