That news comes as government forecasters predicted yesterday a busy hurricane season. They expect seven to 10 hurricanes after a quiet season last year.
Gasoline prices are expected to increase through the Memorial Day weekend and the summer vacation season.
The lowest gas prices in the state ranged from $3.05-3.08 in the last 48 hours.
