CALHOUN HIGH STUDENTS VISIT COLUMBUS ZOO

(05/21/2007)

Twenty-seven Calhoun High students visited the Columbus Zoo last week.

The group saw several animals from different regions of the world, including the African, Australia, Southeast Asia, and North America, among others.

The Zoo has the world's largest snake in captivity, approximately 24 feet long and 303 pounds. It was named Fluffy.

Students enjoyed the boat and train rides, while others were awed by the extraordinary animals.
