A Calhoun Grand Jury issued four indictments yesterday. - Matthew Clay Bell, 22, of Creston, three counts of daytime burglary and three counts, willfully setting fire on lands - Gary Paul Ferrell, 49, of Big Bend, one count, possession of a firearm, and two counts, wanton endangerment involving a firearm - Sarah Cain, 29, of Orma, one count of welfare fraud - Ronald J. Gordon, 57, of Orma, indicted on nine counts: * Four counts of sexual abuse in the first degree * Two counts of sexual assault in the second degree * One count of sexual abuse in the second degree * One count of attempt to commit sexual assault in the second degree * One count of nighttime burglary An indictment is not an indication of guilt; rather, it means a grand jury has found sufficient evidence to warrant a trial. |
