Pearl C. Hicks, 72, of Spencer, West Virginia, died Friday, May 4, 2007 in Roane General Hospital after a sudden illness.
She was born May 15, 1934, at Falling Rock, a daughter of the late William Walter and Rosa Kathryn Sykes Bevel. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Ronzel Hicks. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include one daughter, Carolyn Wilson of Spencer; one son, Larry Schoolcraft of Spencer; three sisters, Georgia Craigo of Florida, Margaret Lyons of Ohio, and Della Bea Bevel of Spencer; one brother, Chester Bevel, of Spencer; five grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Sunday, May 6, at 8:00 p.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Darrell Alvis officiating.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Sunday.
