4:45 AM SUNDAY - Fire destroyed a house between Wigner and Main Street in Grantsville early Sunday morning, the occupant of the house, Judy Wagoner reportedly fled from the blaze.
Wagoner, who was renting the house, lost all her possessions.
The Grantsville VFD was summoned at 3:55 a.m. after several calls to 911.
The house, which was located a considerable distance from other dwellings was fully engulfed when firemen arrived.
There were several muffled explosions.
From West Main Street, it is located up the hill near the town limits.
Power lines were arcing and a large tree next to the dwelling caught fire.
The Arnoldsburg VFD was summoned for assistance, but was returned to station.
The house was known originally as the Roy Kemper house.
