| Downtown Spencer was without power tonight after a tree brought down power lines and at least three poles on Arnoldsburg Road near the Spencer Foodland and Spencer Auto Group.
Roane 911 advised at 10 p.m. that the power company would not be able to mobilize a full crew and restore power until Saturday morning.
Roane's emergency services, including the Spencer-Roane VFD, E-911 Center and the Roane County Emergency Squad, have been affected, operating on emergency power.
Electric doors to the facilities have been opened, and the services are available.
Traffic has been re-routed around the downed lines.
The same area suffered a power outage a few weeks ago following a wind storm.
