It was great weather for a family ATV outing
It's a wild and crazy event, but safe for ATV riders who follow the rules.
The famous Creston ATV Poker Run drew 347 entrants Saturday, vying for cash and prizes on a 34-mile run.
With a few brief showers, it was a perfect day for the outing, which draws a large number of ATV riders from Ohio to compete with local riders.
The 1st price winner ($1,041) was Cynthia Adkins of Mt. Gay WV; 2nd prize ($347) was Josh Stull of Mt. Zion and 3rd place ($347) was Vince Clancy.
Riders also earned lots of other prizes, tool sets, clothes, lights, hats and helmets.
The next ride is scheduled for July 21st - a 50 mile ride, likely through three counties.
