| Madeline A. Epling, 85, of Spencer, died Sunday, April 1, 2007, in the Camden Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg, after a short illness.
She was born February 3, 1922, in Roane County, the daughter of the late Garrison and Minnie Evans Anderson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hobert Epling; two brothers, Edgar Anderson and Edwin Anderson.
Mrs. Epling was a retired Kellwood Corp. employee with 30+ years of service. She was a Christian and a member of the Spencer Baptist Temple, Spencer.
Surviving relatives include three daughters, Barbara Prine of Reedy, Beverly Greathouse and Jackie Milliken both of Spencer; one son, William E. Epling of Warren, PA; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, April 4 at 11:00 a.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Richard W. Perrine and the Rev. Hayward Lough officiating. Burial will be in the Eventide Cemetery, Spencer.
Friends may call Tuesday, April 3 from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
