| Grantsville resident Scott Morford, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Morford, escaped
serious injury in a two-vehicle crash at the mouth of Big Root Saturday
morning. He received minor injuries from an air bag. The vehicles came to a
stop side by side against the hillside. The driver of the other vehicle, Arthur
Gibson of Big Root, was uninjured.
Calhoun Sheriff Allen Parsons was investigating. Calhoun EMS responded,
with no one being taken to the hospital. The Grantsville VFD also answered
the call.
