Garnett Marie (Duelley) Furby, died Thursday, March 22, 2007, at her home in Wooster, Ohio in the presence of her loving family.
She was born September 21, 1924, in Crooked Fork, West Virginia, to Clarence Edward and Daisy Myrtle Duelley.
She had previously worked at B. F. Goodrich in Grantsville, WV and the Viscoes Plant at Parkersburg, WV.
Services will be Saturday, March 24th, at 2 p.m. at Custer-Glenn Funeral Home, 2284 Benden Drive, Wooster, Ohio with Roger Gerwig officiating. Internment will be at Apple Creek Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday, March 23 from 6-8 p.m., or one hour prior to the services Saturday. Words may be shared with the family at www.MEM.com
Garnett married Denver D. Furby on September 20, 1946, in Rosedale WV. He died May 8, 1994 in Wooster, Ohio.
She attended First Church of God in Wooster when she was able. She was a very kind and loving mother.
Surviving are a daughter, Barbara (Timothy) Flickinger of Wooster; extended children include Loretta Horst Rexroad, Donald J. Rexroad and Ronald (Barbara) Rexroad; a brother, Sherman (Gwen) Duelley; sisters,
Pauline Dobbins, Meda (Ruth) Doll Mohr and Lois Lee (Don) Rexroad; Granddaughters, Vanessa (Robert) Crites, Corissa Horst and Jadea Hammitt; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her loving husband, she is preceded in death by four brothers. |
