| Juveniles reportedly set a woods fire on Euclid-Nicut Road at 5:20 p.m. Wednesday. The Upper-West Fork Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene, the fire was quickly extinguished. Deputy Justin Metheney was investigating the incident, the juveniles were still at the scene.
A short in a heating-cooling furnace at Victory Baptist Church caused smoke Wednesday evening. The Grantsville VFD responded at 7:10 p.m. damage was confined to the unit.
A Mud Fork woman reported candles burning inside or beside her door when she returned to her residence on adjacent Camp Run at 5:42 p.m. Wednesday. State Police are reportedly investigating the incident.
Grantsville firemen responded to Bryner Road Tuesday evening after two fires appeared to be set and a breaking and entering occurred at the Richard Kirby residence. Authorities are investigating the incidents.
