| P. Steven Holbert, 48, of MacFarlan, West Virginia, went to be with the Lord on March 13, 2007 at Eagle Pointe Nursing Facility.
He was born June 8, 1958 in Calhoun County, the son of the late Alvin Holbert and Jean Holbert Rittenhouse of MacFarlan.
Steve worked off-shore drilling in Raceland, Louisiana for 18 years, and was formerly a self employed carpenter.
In addition to his mother he is survived by two daughters, Stephanie and Kayla Holbert of Louisiana; two brothers, Ronald Holbert of Raceland, LA, and Randal Holbert of MacFarlan; one sister, Shelia Starcher of Spencer. He is also survived by three nephews, three nieces, a special niece, Amber Holbert, and a great niece, Skylar Bogan.
In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his older brother, Michael Holbert in 1995; maternal grandparents, Ovied and Letha Watson of Smithville; paternal grandparents, Branson and Cora Holbert of Big Springs.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, March 17 at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville. Interment will be in the Saunders Cemetery at Big Springs.
Friends may call at the funeral home from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday. |
