Roy Keith Copley is under arrest and charged with the stabbing death of Larry Mollett.
Police say Copley stabbed Mollett in retaliation, after Mollett shot Rosella Copley and her son Tyson Jude to death.
Copley was in her 40's, Jude in his 20's. Rosella was Roy Copley's ex-wife and Tyson was his ex-son in law.
The incident happened before midnight Monday night in the town of Stonecoal, just off Route 52.
Stonecoal is south of Crum, just a few miles north of the Mingo County line.
A nephew told WSAZ-TV that he believes a romantic dispute was behind the killings.
