Larry P. Mangus, 62, of Mt. Zion, West Virginia, passed away March 7, 2007 at his home.
Born in Logan County, he was a son of the late Albert and Bertha Garrett Mangus. He was a former coal miner and was a member of the Five Forks Community Church.
Surviving are his wife, Patty Mangus; one son, Curtis and his wife Darlene of Dawsonville, Georgia; daughter, Tyrena Mangus of Mt. Zion; a brother, Arnold Mangus of Festus, Missouri; 4 grandchildren, Curtis, Jr., Harley, Paige, and Ryka.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother and sister.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, March 11 at Five Forks Community Church, at Five Forks, WV. Rev. Alfred Hickman will officiate. Interment will be in the Collins Community Cemetery at Stumptown, WV.
Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the services, Sunday.
